We set up Stafford Lea in 2004 to bring together the experience of senior search consultants from high profile search firms in the city. We bring over 30 years' accumulated experience in The City, managing high level search assignments, large scale search and selection programmes and management team building exercises. Additionally we have hired some of the best researchers and consultants, and developed them into highly effective and able search professionals.

Our strength lies in our intimate knowledge of the market, the depth of our research, the flexibility of our approach and above all, our integrity and discretion. We are engaged upon searches that can be sensitive for the client, the candidates and, indeed, for the market – our water-tight processes ensure a no-surprises approach to the search work we perform and that complete discretion is observed from initial contact.
